Redspokes have recently Joined The Wiggle ‘Cash for Clubs’  partners scheme. This allows anyone with a website, blog, social networking site the opportunity to earn some cash promoting Wiggle to their members and visitors. In return we are providing exposure through the Wiggle Bloggle and to kick things off while the weather is getting worse and the nights are drawing in, consider an adventure holiday and get away from dreary wintry weather with Redspokes.
Red Spokes is one of the UK’s leading holiday companies offering high altitude adventure cycling. They cater for a wide range of abilities, from more relaxed tours in Kerala and beautiful undiscovered Laos to the demanding High Himalayas of India and their extreme challenge on offer in Tibet which includes cycling to Base Camp Everest and completing the world’s longest downhill ride. Take a look at the trips on their Website www.redspokes.co.uk to see other tours they run in Peru, Vietnam and Tajikistan to name but a few. Of course you might want to join them for a day ride or a weekend trip in the UK or Ireland before setting out further afield.Â
At Red Spokes they believe in responsible tourism and have established close links in their host countries. They work closely with guides from the communities through which they travel. Their relationships in Laos are particularly strong, where they are proud to have funded a school and a water project in the local village of their guide Ken.Â
Red Spokes began life in 1990 as a collective of cyclists who specialize in riding remote and spectacular roads in secluded sections of the planet. As a direct result of these experiences they decided to take small groups of friends and acquaintances to areas that offer not only fantastic cycling, but also immense cultural interest.
Since the popularity of these tours increased it was decided to start up a small company with the aim of providing this type of exciting and rewarding trip within an affordable price range most of us think is reasonable without cutting corners on safety or where possible comfort.
Red Spokes are committed to ensuring that our tours not only support the local economies but also respect the local cultures. They do this by employing local guides and drivers, staying mostly in family run accommodation and where possible building relationships with the local communities.
