I did my first track session this week and it was bloody hard, I could hardly walk after it but hey that’s what its all about. The best thing about the session was that Brad K was also doing a session at the same time so it made me run a bit harder.
I have two weeks until Mooloolaba world cup so one more week of hard training and then an easy week before one of the biggest races of the season in Australia.
Mooloolaba is one of the hardest courses on the circuit, it’s a sea swim with a long run on the sand to T1 and the bike is 8 laps with 2 climbs on each lap and the run is 4 laps of the bike course I finished 12th last year so hope to go a bit better this year.
After that race I will head to St Anthony’s in the USA for a non-drafting race that will have a strong field. From there I will head to St Croix for the 70.3 race there this will be my first ever half Iron man so looking forward to the experience and I’m sure to learn a lot from it.
