Ben Paviour, lucky winner of the Ronhill warm weather training holiday has just emailed me, having competed in the London Marathon I’m sure Ben and his wife will make the most of the splendid training facilities in Monte Gordo Portugal.
I’d just like to thank Ron Hill and Wiggle for providing this fantastic prize of a warm weather training holiday to Monte Gordo in Portugal for my wife and I. I couldn’t quite believe I’d won initially as I never win competitions and it wasn’t really until the tickets came in the post that I actually believed it was true !
Having just run the London Marathon where I finished 51st in a time of 2:29, I am looking forward to gently easing back into some training in a nice warm climate where I will be able to get the legs turning over again on the track at the Vila Real Sports Centre where we have a free pass for a week!
My wife being a bit of a runner herself is also looking forward to using all the facilities…
