In association with Hampshire County Council, Wiggle are supporting the Summer of Cycling 09. Are you a budding photographer who would like a chance to win a bike? If so, then this is the competition for you.
As part of Cycle Hampshire 09, Summer of Cycling, Hampshire County Council are looking for photos under the theme “Cycling is fun”. You could submit a photo of your favourite cycle ride or fun cycling moments, or why not get arty with your bike at a Hampshire hotspot or take a photo at one of the Cycle Hampshire 09 events.
The competition entries will be judged by the Cycle Hampshire 09 steering group and hopefully, a special guest judge.
There are two age categories:
* Adults (16 yrs and over)
* Children (Under 16s).
The top 5 photos in each category will be given a cycle goody bag (that’s 10 winners) and the overall winner in each category will also win a bike (up to the value of £500 for adults and £300 for children), which have kindly been donated by Wiggle.
So what are you waiting for – get snapping.
To Enter
To enter you can either
* upload your photos to Flickr
* or send them by post to Access Development Officer (Cycling), Hampshire County Council, Mottisfont Court, High Street, Winchester, SO23 8ZF.
You will need to have an account with Flickr (it’s free to join)
Make sure you upload them to the Cycle Hampshire, Summer of Cycling group and tag them with cyclehampshire09 (if you click on the link above you will be taken directly to the group).
Also please let us know your name, whether you are in the Adult or Children’s category and where in Hampshire you took the photo by saying so in the description box.
