Lucky winner and I mean lucky… Jason Kostromin is the proud owner of a new Team Garmin replica helmet. Here is what Jason had to say.

I purchased a Garmin team jersey from wiggle with money for my birthday, as part of the purchase I was automatically entered into a competition to win a Garmin team helmet. I purchased the jersey and thought no more about the competition entry, as I never win any competitions!! I was so amazed when I had an email from wiggle saying that I had won the helmet and they wanted to check the delivery address. Wow, I still did not quite believe that I would receive the helmet, that there was some sort of catch or someone was messing around.

A few days later, I went out on a training ride and unfortunately got hit off by a passing car that then drove off. I was taken to hospital and luckily just had a few aching muscles and soreness, but my helmet and bike had a few scratches. When I got home, I was feeling very sorry for myself and went to have a shower. After my shower I walked into the lounge and my wife is sitting there with a big grin on her face wearing my new helmet, saying look what I found in the parcel bin? I was so delighted, it really lifted my mood. The helmet is absolutely fantastic and a perfect match with my Garmin jersey. I will enjoy wearing the helmet with my cycling club, Swansea wheelers.
