Wiggle teamed up with Focus Bikes to offer the opportunity to win a trip to the Vattenfall Cyclassic event in Hamburg on August 16th 2009. The Vattenfall Cyclassics one-day race is a true celebration of cycling. It is one of the youngest one-day road races in the UCI ProTour but it is one of the best races because organisers combine a high quality professional race with a day of cycling for everyone who loves two-wheels.
The competition has now drawn to a close and I have the pleasure to announce that we have now picked a lucky winner for the competition. Richard Hutchinson will be jetting off to Hamburg Germany with his colleague Craig. Here’s what Richard had to say about winning the competition.
“While waiting at Newcastle Airport to fly to Majorca for my 50th the wife took a phone call and started giving me the thumbs up and I knew it had to be about the Wiggle trip to the Vattenfall Cyclassic event in Hamburg! But I didn´t think we would win first prize – I can´t believe I won, I had shown my wife the web site cos she wanted to buy me a Milram cycling strip for my 50th but never thought it would lead to this. I will be dragging along my cycling mate and work colleague Craig who was also on holiday when I rang him! Thanks Wiggle it is a fantastic prize!”
