Wiggle have recently supported Hampshire County Council with a few prizes for competitions. We’ve just been informed that there is a great local event to support young people in Hampshire via the Prince’s Trust and we felt it would be great to spread the word.
On Sunday 16th August 2009 at the beautiful Royal Victoria Country Park, near Southampton a 10k (6.2mile) walk will be held. This is a great opportunity to take part in the walk either individually or as part of a team and get out in the fresh air and enjoy some beautiful scenery and help raise some money for Charity.
Last year The Prince’s Trust helped more than 40,000 young people. By fundraising through events like Walk for The Trust, you can enable them to help even more young people in 2009 and beyond.
Why Walk for The Trust?
Walk for The Trust is a chance to have a fun day out with friends and family, and through your sponsorship you’ll be helping The Prince’s Trust support disadvantaged young people in the UK.
Signing up
It couldn’t be easier. Participants can register online and start fundraising immediately. There’s no registration fee but we ask all participants to raise at least £10 in sponsorship money.
