It’s nice to be loved the world over – and ever since we launched in Australia last summer the Aussies have taken to Wiggle as fast as ice cold beers on the beach. Our sales Down Under have been going through the roof and we’ve been receiving some great feedback from customers.
We began ad campaigns in Australian Triathlete magazine and Australian Cyclist magazine at the start of 2009. Team Wiggle roadie Ben Simmons now features in our full page ads in both these mags and we’ve recently been attracting some great coverage too. The latest edition of Australian Triathlete includes our top of the range dhb Knowle kit on the bike/tri products pages and the winners of our dhb Finchdean competition have also been announced. Five sets of dhb Finchdean jerseys and bib shorts were up for grabs, so congrats to Trevor Warburton, Peter Grant, Ben Bailey, Mick Baldwin and Tristan Parker who will now be sporting dhb Finchdean gear around Australia.
The magazine’s editor, Tiffany Loftus-Hills, also wrote to us recently following a bike crash. She said:
“I wanted to let you know how well your dhb gear stands up to a bike crash! I came off my bike a few weeks ago and my dhb jersey stood up to the test – it didn’t even tear, which saved my arms a great deal of mess. My arms were still a bit cut up, but not half as much as they might have been if I’d had other gear on. I will be writing this in my training diary and the importance of quality in terms of gear. I love your dhb kit.â€
