Mud, Sweat and Tears is a site based on worldwide, off-road running. Centring itself on race news, reviews, interviews and features from fell and mountain running, trail and cross country running, ultra marathons and all things gnarly. The site is the brain-child of Matt Ward, a runner who visited forums and sites from all disciplines, but could never quite find one place that covered all bases. In the 12 months that MST has been operating its popularity and traffic has grown considerably and is becoming the first port-of-call for many off-road consumer.
With exclusive interviews with the likes of Alistair Brownlee (yes he is a fell runner too!), world champions Jono Wyatt and Anna Frost and exclusive first-see reviews of the likes of Salomon’s XT Wings Slab2 the sites reputation continues to grow. Matt’s style of writing also gains acclaim with its refreshing humour and insight, meaning that no subject is ever taken too seriously.
