Wiggle Super Series: 50 bonus places available for the New Forest Spring Sportive

The first event in the Wiggle Super Series -The New Forest Spring Sportive – has now sold out. All 1,000 spaces have been snapped up just days before the ride, which takes place this Sunday and has the stunning New Forest National Park as its backdrop.

If you’re still keen to take part and haven’t signed up yet, you could be one of 50 lucky people who grab one of the bonus places which organisers UK Cycling Events have just released.

These 50 spots can only be bought online at www.wiggle.co.uk/Events or www.ukcyclingevents.co.uk and must be purchased by 5.30pm today (Thursday). Online entries will close at this point and there will be no on-the-day entries.

With the UK sportive market booming and more riders than ever wanting to take part, those interested in finding out for themselves why sportives are becoming so popular are being urged to sign up early for future events to avoid disappointment.

For those who might have missed out on the New Forest event, why not take a look at the next sportives we have lined up in the series?

There’s the Ups and Downs near Dorking which takes place on Sunday, April 25. It boasts three options: the 101-mile Epic, the 70-mile Standard or the 45-mile Fun route.

This will be followed by the Jurassic Beast on May 2 in Dorchester and then the Bournemouth Arrows Sportive on May 16. Set in the sunny seaside town, this sportive takes in Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire and combines quiet roads, great scenery and three challenging climbs. The Standard Route is 75 miles while the Epic is 100 miles.
