A quick blog post. I attended the IG Markets Nocturne on Saturday evening. Took the camera along. Something of interest for many blog readers will be this image.
The gorgeous Shimano carbon deep section wheels. Currently the only model unavailable to the public is the c75 model. These wheels were part of the spares from the Team Sky riders who raced. They were shod with rubber from Veloflex, available from Wiggle. Speaking to Team Sky’s Andy Verrall he rates them highly, he should know. He has fitted hundreds!
Also, the Team Sky bikes were fitted with chain catchers from K-Edge. A nice little touch.
A pleasure to spend most of the evening with Andy and have a good old catch up, as well as the odd bit of bike talk.
Also spotted in use were the LeMond Fitness Revolution trainer. A great idea. And very realistic in use.
