Southern Spring Classic – Steam Museum at Liphook, 1st April 2012
SportivePhoto always gives Wiggle sportives fab coverage and is responsible for getting photographic evidence that our riders can take away and use for bragging rights to friends and family! So when Wiggle heard that they’re joining up with UK Cycling Events to do a new event next year, we figured that it would be a ride that would inevitably result in some great candids to strategically leave out on the coffee table…
Wiggle is certain that this event is going to have a great atmosphere and superb routes as it’s being managed by UK Cycling Events who hosts the Wiggle Super Series.
The Southern Spring Classic is being launched in 2012. Conforming to expectations, all riders will be able to download their photos from this event afterwards. But it gets better… photos will be completely free! Zilch. Zero. Nada cost! And seeing as SportivePhoto will have more photographers than usual for this event, all riders can expect to have a good selection of action shots.

SportivePhoto is keen to ease riders out of winter at their own pace so there are two route lengths of 71 and 50 miles for riders to choose from. Sportive riders can expect a few hills en route – one of which is the newly constructed cycle path up and over Hindhead Hill. This road bypasses the main traffic of the new Hindhead Tunnel (cyclists aren’t allowed in!) so it offers some welcome peace and quiet away from the general hubbub of the A3.
SportivePhoto is based close to the route so the routes use well-known, well-ridden roads. Cyclists can expect plenty of pretty villages and the odd pond along the way to add a bit of diversity to the scenery!
