Wiggle and Pacific Edge Events can announce that the brand new Wiggle Mountain Mayhem 2012 website is now live.
The website will offer visitors information about Wiggle, Pacific Edge Events and Wiggle Mountain Mayhem itself. It will have an online shop where fans of the event can buy exclusive Wiggle Mountain Mayhem clothing and accessories plus information about the event, the location, other sponsors and how to enter.
This year there will be three ways to enter the World’s original 24h endurance cycling event – online, by post or by foot.
Online entry means that riders can enter in a few simple clicks to secure their place on the Wiggle Mountain Mayhem 2012. Online entries from the Wiggle website will be live from midday on 1st March.
However Mountain Mayhem wouldn’t be Mountain Mayhem if the ultra-keen amongst us couldn’t undertake the traditional mass-movement to Pat’s house in Derbyshire. Every year, entrants turn up on Pat’s doorstep with their documents in-hand and every year the bar gets raised for who can make the most outlandish arrival… the stealth-like arrival of an Aston Martin and a mad dash to the doorbell springs to mind! The Wiggle Mountain Mayhem site will host downloadable forms for entries at Pat’s house. These will go live at midnight on 29th February.
The official Wiggle Mountain Mayhem 2012 website will also give charity riders the opportunity to download ready-to-use Press Pack to help them raise as much money as possible for their chosen charity. The pack will help them to raise their profile in their local area to generate some sponsorship donations and support for their cause. Over 2,700 riders expected for Wiggle Mountain Mayhem 2012 so if each rider raises £375 then 2012 will be the year of the Wiggle Mountain Mayhem Million!
Riders are encouraged to get their entries in promptly to make sure that they get their place on what is one of the most highly anticipated events in the World’s cycling calendar.
